Skull- after Da Vinci.
From the Saga of My Stolen Art Book (see ADAD 02-01-2012, blogger is throwing tanties and won't let me link).
I'm pleased with how this one turned out. It took just over an hour, with breaks to eat and answer the phone for telemarketers. :)

I like this! I wish I could sketch like you! Would be a lovely addition to photos for documenting our lives :)
ReplyDeleteI tell everyone to try. Just try.
DeleteIt can be the most relaxing, calming activity (and it can be terribly frustrating too, lol).
But I'll never regret my time spent drawing, even if there is nothing quite so cool as this one at the end of theday. :)
That is really cool, I wanted to study it for awhile and take in the details. Your talent always amazes me!
ReplyDeleteThank you. I'm reasonably pleased with how it turned out.
DeleteIf I just look at it on it's own merits, and quit comparing it to Da Vinci, I'll be fine! lol
Holy crap! That is awesome! Like really, super cool. The detail is amazing.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteAll credit goes to Da Vinci, I was just copying... :)
Oooh, I really like this one Pamela! What are you using? Is it pen?
ReplyDeleteIt is indeed.
DeleteThis one was an Artline felt tip.
I usually draw in some light guide lines in pencil, then erase them when I'm finished with the inking. :)
an hour you say....shut up!! you are way to clever!
ReplyDeletelol!
DeleteThis one was easier I think, as I had a reference picture, and I've drawn it before.
Some take longer, some not so much... :)
