The Rescue.
By request.
Many years ago I drew a similar picture for a friend of mine, resuing her from her bad day.
Well things have been a little bleak for her lately, and she finds herself in need of a bit of a rescue again.
So here it is, Her Princess in Shining Armour.
I will be colouring this, as I love it!
Today's drawing in colour. Not finished, but out of time! lol
As usual, click to see more details in the images.
What a great drawing! I just have to say I am LOVING your blog, you a one very talented chickadee :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you. This one was crazy fun! And painting in Photoshop is kind of addictive! lol
DeleteOh wow, you are really talented! I´m so much uncreative...because of this I admire your drawing the more!
ReplyDeleteThank you! We all have our talents, and I love that so many people can use this project to further theirs. :)
DeleteI'm curious how it works? Do you draw your pic and then scan it in to colour? This one is really cute
ReplyDeleteI wish I had a scanner it would make this all so much easier! lol
DeleteInstead I draw, then take a photo on my terrible litte phone camera, transfer to laptop, crop, and then open in Photoshop to paint on.
Thank you, it got alot more attention than any other, that's for sure. :)
Loving the horse - is there any significance to the hand print on his hind quarters?
ReplyDeleteOnly the significance you read into it.
DeleteMy husband and sister both saw it and decided it was related to different things they are interested in.
Personally I think it was a detail my brain had ferreted away from a book I read.
What a beautiful present for your friend. So thoughtful.
ReplyDeleteYou are very talented. x
Thank you. She deserves it, she's a lovely person. Plus she asked for it, and I'm all about taking requests at the moment! lol
DeleteWow, just wow! You are incredibly talented! Love the colours :)
ReplyDeleteThank you! Having looked through so many blogs in the past few weeks, including you own, I can safely say I'm not the only one. :)
